For Your First Massage Welcome to your first time massage experience with us. Please know you are in the hands of a professional whose highest mission is your comfort, relaxation, pain management and overall wellness and health. Allow yourself a fifteen minutes lead for your first appointment in order to fill up any information needed, and five to ten minutes thereafter. Your massage or treatment will take place in the quiet surroundings of the massage therapy room. Soft music and dimmed lights will relax you and carry you far from the pace of your day. This is your time to completely relax , and let yourself care for you. Upon entering the room, we will show you the massage table, review any of your expectations, needs of areas of discomfort. We will then leave the room and allow you to undress to your level of comfort. This is different for everybody. Most clients prefer to completely undress while some will keep on their lower undergarment. During the massage, the draping is done in a way that only the part of the body being work on is uncovered. When the therapist performs some range of motion of members like arms or legs, do not try to help unless you are asked to do so, just relax. While the massage is being performed, we might ask you if the pressure used is comfortable for you. Please feel free to request adjustments of pressure throughout if needed. Remember, the massage experience should not be painful. Following the massage, please do not feel rushed, get up slowly from the table and get dressed. After leaving, it is important to drink plenty of water for one or two after your massage to eliminate the toxins from your blood stream. We look forward to seeing you to enjoy a memorable and healthy experience. |
